Yesterday I gave a talk at the University of San Fransisco, Quito about the reproducibility crisis in psychology (and most science). \u00a0This was at the invite of the Quito Brain and Behaviour Lab. \u00a0I decided to give this talk rather than one on my own research as I think it’s really important for all researchers, but especially those at the beginning of their career.<\/p>\n

Psychology faces serious issues and they need to be fixed. \u00a0The good news is that we can fix the most serious of these\u00a0issues relatively easily, if we actually try. \u00a0There is some resistance from some in the old guard, but this can be overcome. \u00a0Anyway, I’ll expand on this in an update, for now the purpose of this entry is mostly to make the slides available for those who were at the talk.<\/p>\n
